2014-15 MACH Champions

Delaware defeated Rowan University 6-2 on Sunday February 16 to claim their first ever Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey (MACH) Championship. The Blue Hens entered the MACH during the teams inaugural season just 3 years ago. Last season the Blue Hens made their first playoff appearance but were bounced from the playoffs in the first round by the Liberty Flames. They defeated the #2 seed Virginia Tech Hokies in the first round with a 4-3 overtime victory. In the semifinals they extingquished the #1 seeded Flames with another 4-3 victory. In addition to the league championship, the team picked up most of the playoff individual awards as well. Junior defenseman Trevor Jones, junior goaltender Lewis Brotman, senior forwards Mark Zeszut and Trevor Richmond were named to the all-tournament team. Zeszut earned the tournament MVP award.
