Newark, Del. — The Blue Hens are back this weekend to face the Syracuse Orange. Last weekend the Hens took victory over Drexel, 3-2, in Friday’s game, however lost, 4-2, in Saturday’s game. The Hens will host Syracuse this weekend at Fred Rust Arena on Friday (Nov. 1) at 7 p.m. and Saturday (Nov. 2) at 5:25 p.m.
The Syracuse Orange are coming off two losses to Liberty University in their recent weekend series. On Friday (Oct. 18), Syracuse fell, 4-2, and on Saturday (Oct. 19), they were once again defeated, 4-1.
This week’s player to watch is forward Cam Piorkowski. Cam is a junior civil engineering major from Millis, Mass. He had a big goal in last weekend’s game against the Dragons, tying the game at 2-2. Cam’s teammates look at his physicality as crucial to the team.
Tickets are $6 (free for UD students) and are available at the door. If you can’t make it this weekend, watch the Hens on the live broadcast at dehockeynight.com.
