Newark, Del. — After taking victories in both games against Syracuse last weekend, the Blue Hens are back to face the United States Naval Academy on Friday (Nov. 8) at 8:30 p.m. at Fred Rust Arena.
Proceeds from this week’s game will support the Open Net Foundation. All money raised from the event will benefit juvenile arthritis research. General admission tickets will be $5 and VIP tickets will also be available for $20.
Navy faced William Paterson and Towson this past weekend. Navy lost to William Paterson, 6-5, on Friday (Nov. 1) and beat Towson, 6-0, on Saturday (Nov. 2). The Midshipmen have a current standing of 7-4-0.
This week’s player to watch is forward Brian Ostrander. Brian is a junior sports management major from Rockaway Beach, N.Y. Now his third year playing for the Blue Hens, Brian is known for being smart in all phases of the game and being able to make a play out of nothing. His team sees him as a “legend on and off the ice.”
