Adrian and Davenport Weekend Preview

Newark, Del. — After a tough weekend in New York, the Hens are heading to Michigan to take on the Adrian College Bulldogs for the first time in Blue Hens history. On Friday (Oct. 18), the game will begin at 7 p.m. at Arlington Ice Arena. The game on Saturday (Oct. 19) will take place at 3 p.m. in the same location. After the Bulldogs, the team will head over to Grand Rapids, Mich., to face the Davenport University Panthers on Sunday (Oct. 20) in their first ever meeting. The game will begin at 12 noon at Patterson Ice Arena.

Adrian is coming off a win from last weekend, when they beat the Mercyhurst, 8-1. Similarly, Davenport also won their most recent game, beating Aquinas College, 5-2.

This week’s player to watch is forward Colin Emerich. Colin is a senior majoring in finance, and has played on the team for the past three years. According to his teammates, Colin has had a “hot start to the season,” having already scored three goals and assisted on an additional 10. Colin is known to be able to handle both the offensive and defensive aspects of the game, helping out his team wherever he can.
