On Saturday October 5, the University of Delaware Women’s Ice Hockey team will hold their third annual Breast Cancer Awareness game as they will take on the University of Maryland. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
The game will commence with a ceremonial puck drop by honored guests who are currently battling breast cancer and who are breast cancer survivors. The Blue Hens will sport special breast cancer jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game.
Please come out and help support the Blue Hens as they play their part in fighting this terrible disease. Admission to the game is free, but any donations made for entrance will benefit the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
