1980-81 – Torn is another player who has made the switch from defense to forward, and by doing so, has added extra scoring punch to the Delaware front line. He has terrific “hockey sense” and can adapt to any situation smoothly.
1981-82 – A native of Villanova, Pa. Tom was recruited heavily by that school because of his exceptional ability. Luckily for the Hens he chose Delaware. A swift skater and a good puck handler, “Fife” is known for his hard work and tremendous hockey sense.
1982-83 – Returning for his fourth and final year, Tom adds experience to an otherwise “green” line. TW is being teamed with two talented freshmen this year. This combo could develop into one of the top scoring lines in the League. Tom will also see duty on the power play this year because of his ability to control play in the attacking zone and scoring touch.
1983-84 – The continuing saga of the whereabouts of Tom, otherwise known as “In Search of Chin,” takes us to Philadelphia, his last known habitat. Tom missed this year’s alumni game at the very whim of his fiance Linda. The former Hen standout has been adequately replaced by team mascot Radisson, a golden retriever.
