Before UD: Steven attended Wilmington Charter School where he played varsity lacrosse for two seasons and served as a Science Ambassador. As a member of the Jr Blue Hens U18, he led the team in all offensive categories which garnered him a top 5 position among the DVHL league leaders. He has given back to the game by officiating and coaching youth hockey.
