1979-80 – In his rookie season as a Blue Hen scrappy Steve saw action at both right and left wing positions. With a year of seasoning under his belt, Steve and his devastating right-handed shot will be valuable assets to the Delaware offensive machine. Steve is a sophomore.
1980-81 – Steve is one of the best all around players in the league. His excellent speed and devastating right-handed shot will be his trade marks again this season. “Hubbs” is a “complete”hockey player – performing equally well in the offensive and defensive aspects of the game.
1981-82 – This native of Weymouth, Mass. is easily the best right wing in the entire league. He was the unanimous choice for the first All-Star team in the Conference last year at right wing. “Hubbs” is a terrific skater with a devastating shot and is one of the few “complete” players in the league. This is because he excels at both the offensive and defensive aspects of the game. Steve is also the teams’ president.
