- 1984 M.A.C.H.C. First Team All-Star
1982-83 – A three-year MVP in the New Jersey Youth Hockey League, Mike has impressed the coach as an aggressive player who could help round the first line. Mike is a computer science major.
1983-84 – Last year as a freshman Mike won a spot on the 1st line as well as the team’s power play. A tireless skater, Mike is a true two-way player, excelling at both the offensive and defensive aspects of the game. Much to his credit, “Birdman” is considered a team player who is known for his unselfish attitude.
1984-85 – Mike has been a solid left wing for Delaware for two seasons. He thrives on intense competition and produces under pressure. His unselfish style of play are inspirational for the whole team and should help Delaware on its way to a successful season.
1985-86 – Mike has been selected as the Blue Hens Captain this year. His aggressive style on the left wing allows Delaware to dominate play along the boards when he’s on the ice. Mike has a knack of being in the right place at the right time which puts him in position to score goals and keep opponents off the scoreboard
