1991-92 – Despite Ed’s size he is a fine defensive player. He is considered the best backÂwards skater on the team. Ed has a “bullet” shot from the point. He will be counted on for big plays and to add support to the Hens defense.
1992-93 – Last year’s “Leahy Award” recipient as best defenseman, Ed is looking to have an equally impressive sophomore effort. His strong skating and hockey sense make him a valuable asset and his potent point shot keeps goalies on guard. Look for another fine year from ‘Trigger’.
1993-94Â – Ed enters his third season for the Hens this year. Although small in stature, Ed is the Hens best all-around defenseman. He is always in the right place at the right time. Ed’s strong hockey sense will guide the Hens on their flight of victory.
1994-95 – As a former Leahy award winner, Ed is the core of the defensive unit. Last season Ed received honorable mention ACHL honors for his solid defensive play. His keen ability to always be in the right place in the defensive zone will help stop the offensive strike of opposing squads.
