29 Chuck Oese

1991-92 – Chuck is a strong skating defenseman who plays his position well. His abilities to make good passes and his hockey knowledge will take him far with the Blue Hens.

1992-93 – Chuck is a quick, dependable skater. His strong defensive play will be counted on heavily this season. His ability to move the puck and his shot should create ex­cellent offensive chances for the Hens. Look for Chuck to see a lot of ice time in his sophomore season with Delaware.

1993-94 – Chuck enters his third year with the Hens after winning the Leahy Award for the teams best defenseman. He also was a second team All-Star in the ACHL. Chuck is a key member of the Hens potent power play unit. Look for Chuck to play great positional defense again for the U of D.

1994-95 – Entering his final season with the Hens, Chuck was last year’s Leahy award winner for best defenseman, was named a second team ACHL all-star, and led the Hen’s defensemen in scoring. He looks to continue his prowess on the Hen’s blue line, having always had an offensive touch while still maintaining solid play in front of his own goal.
