Join us for an evening of collegiate hockey to kick off the 2023-24 season as the University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens face off against the University of North Carolina Tar Heels.
Coming off a strong finish last season, Delaware is eager to continue that momentum into this year’s campaign. The Blue Hens overcame a slow start to secure second place in the MACH, ultimately falling short in a 1-0 OT playoff loss to Maryland.
The Blue Hens have a young team this year with a lot of newcomers.
On defense, we’re proud to introduce CJ Mielcarek (Bluffton, SC | American Hockey Academy), Joey Engelman (White Plains, NY | North Jersey Avalanche), Aidan Goetz (Monroe Township, NJ | NJ Jr Titans), and Jacob Ehrlich (Newark, DE | Philadelphia Little Flyers).
Forwards Anthony Greco (Center Valley, PA |Valley Forge Minutemen), Brendan Stamm (Dedham, MA | Bridgton Academy), Brian Kramer (Berkley Heights, NJ | NJ Colonials), Hubert Polchlopek (Colonia, NJ | Rockets Hockey Club), Patrick Olenski (Ocean Township, NJ | NJ 87s), Rex Maloni (Encinitas, CA | San Diego Saints), Thomas Villano (Middletown, NJ | Red Bank Generals), and Keshaun Scott (Dover, DE | Waldorf University) are set to bring their skills to the ice.
In net Joseph Monte (Wayne, NJ | NY Saints) rounds out the goaltending corps.
