The Blue Hens are coming off of a strong weekend with wins against NC State Friday night and George Washington University Saturday night. Friday night, the Blue Hens had no problem taming the Wolfpack, defeating them by a score of 7-3. They then traveled on the road Saturday night, playing at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, VA. Delaware controlled for most of the game, and was able to stave off a late offensive push by the Colonials and hold on to win, 5-4. The pair of wins pushes the team record to 5-3 on the season with a total of 10 points, 12 behind the league-leading Liberty University Flames.
Come out this Friday as the Blue Hens take on the Rider University Broncs at 8:30 pm at the Gold Arena, and again on Saturday when Delaware hosts the Penn State Lions for their annual charity game for the B+ foundation at 5:15 pm at the Fred Rust Arena.
