The team is extremely excited to be given this opportunity. They earned their spot through all of the hard work they’ve put in throughout the season. In 2012, the Blue Hens were the ACHA D1 National Champs, and they hope to bring that title back this year! Corey Leskanic said, “The team is really excited for Nationals in March. We were really disappointed last year from just barely missing it, but now that we are in, we feel that we have a great chance to win. We’ve competed with the top seed teams, and we can easily play with them. Our goal is to win it all, leave everything on the ice, and nothing short of that.”
Keep up through our Twitter page, @UDHockey, and Facebook page, University of Delaware Men’s Division 1 Ice Hockey, for updates on their time at the tourney and updates on the games! Good luck UD!
