Delaware’s ice hockey club easily won its season opener against the Columbia ( Md.) Flyers 5-2 Friday night in the Delaware Ice Arena. The team showed a balanced offense with five players scoring. Chris Savage put in the first goal for Delaware on a breakaway at 2:30 into the game with assists from Dan Bouchard and Charlie Acerra.
