Coach Trentowski is making his first collegiate coaching appearance this season for the University of Delaware ACHA D1 hockey team. Trentowski graduated from NCAA nationally ranked Yale University in 2011 after a successful four year playing career. He graduated with a degree in Political Science. Upon graduation, Trentowski played semi-pro hockey for two years, ending with the Idaho Steelheads of the East Coast Hockey League in 2013.
Prior to Yale, Trentowski attended Avon Old Farms prep school and played under legendary coach John Gardner from 2004-2007. During his time at Avon, the Winged Beavers won two New England Prep Division I Championships. Trentowski also captained the 2005 National Champion Mid Fairfield Blues U16AA team.
Trentowski’s primary responsibilities will include assisting in all facets of the programs operations as well as overseeing the Blue Hen Defensive core. A native of Long Island, New York, Trentowski now resides in Newark, Delaware where he also works at JP Morgan as a Business Analysis and Reporting Specialist on Anti Money Laundering Operations.
