Hockey takes 3rd Place at Navy Tournament

Plagued by poor officiating, the hockey club finished in a third-place tie at the Navy Hockey Tournament last weekend. The club (9-6-2) lost to Navy on Saturday, 6-4, despite a hat trick by Craig Steenson and a goal by captain Dave Conklin. The Hens skated to a 7-7 overtime tie with West Chester University in the consolation game Sunday. A total of 140 penalty minutes were handed out and four Delaware players were ejected from the game.  Senior Brad Miller led a host of scorers with two goals, while Conklin added a goal and dealt out five assists.
