Kevin was instrumental in getting the program back on the national radar. He singlehandedly led UD to the final four in 2007 playing any position he needed along the way. Kevin’s leadership on and off the ice helped elevate the play of his teammates. This was exemplified in two big upset victories at Nationals over #4 Oklahoma and #5 Rhode Island. This was the team’s first return to the national semifinals in over five years. Overall, Kevin instilled a sense of responsibility among all team members even developing a summer / in-season off-ice workout regimen. In Kevin’s Junior season with the Hens he led the team in scoring and was named Team MVP. His success continued in his senior season as he was named Team Captain and given the Lifetime Achievement Award. Nationally Kevin was recognized by the ACHA as a 2nd Team All-American and was named to the ACHA National Tournament team. Kevin continues to act as a strong steward for the UD hockey brand.
