Andre was a critical factor in the success of the UD Hockey teams between 2008 and 2012, averaging over a point per game in his career. Off the ice, Andre and the Menard family were also huge contributors to UD Hockey, frequently donating their time, energy, and money to help support and grow the organization. Andre was also a strong steward for UD Hockey in the community, often appearing at Jr. Blue Hens and Learn-to-Skate events at the UD Ice Arenas on weekend mornings. Andre continues to strengthen the UD Hockey brand through his success professional playing career in the French Division 1 league. Menard is currently serving as team captain for Drakkars de Caen and previously with Coqs de Courbevoie (Paris).

2009-10 – ESCHL 1st Team All-League; Outstanding Forward Award Winner & Leading Scorer

2010-11 – ESCHL 2nd Team All-League; Outstanding Service and Dedication to Program Award Winner

2011-12 – Intensity Award Winner

Helped team reach National Tournament in three of four seasons as a Blue Hen

  • Captain of 2012 National Championship team and alternate captain of 2011 National semifinalist team
  • 2nd on team in goals (22) and 3rd in assists (32) as Freshman in 2008-09
  • Led team in assists (24) and points (38) as Sophomore in 2009-10
  • 2nd on team in assists (28) and 3rd in scoring (35) as Senior in 2011-12
  • Four-year member of off-ice Leadership Team
