Damian was a 4-year starting forward for the Fightin’ Blue Hens and a prototypical 90’s “power forward”. He came to Delaware as a football recruit and joined the hockey team mid-season at the end of the 1993 football season. After fully transitioning to hockey in 1994, Damian continued to use his football size and athleticism to his advantage on the ice. Over his career, Damian was named to the ECHA All-League 2nd team three times, was named the MVP of the 1994-95 ECHA league playoffs and was team captain in both his junior and senior seasons. In his senior year Damian was named an Honorable Mention ACHA All-American while also being named to the ACHA All-Tournament team. Statistically Damian ranks second all-time in Blue Hens history with 136 assists and ranks 6th all-time with 221 total points. Damian was also an outstanding student, being named to the ACHA Academic All-American Team twice and being awarded the team academic excellence award three times. Today Damian lives in Austin, Texas where he lives with his wife, Amanda, and two daughters, Anastasia and Catalina. He is Vice President of Services with OneSpot which is in the Digital Marketing Technology industry.
