Bob Beck was a powerful, solid and speedy forward with outstanding puck handling abilities. As a Freshman, Bob immediately made his presence known by winning the MACHC Rookie of the Year, League MVP and Pat Monaghan Award, as the league’s top scorer. Scoring 128 goals in four seasons, Bob ranks 5th among Delaware’s all-time leading goal scorers. His talent for scoring perhaps eclipsed his many other on-ice contributions. Bob was a fixture on the top power play and penalty-killing unit. Gifted with great anticipation, he was masterful at stealing pucks and creating short-handed opportunities. If a game was on the line, he was on the ice.
Off the ice, Bob was a positive and impassioned presence in the locker room. To Bob no game was out of reach and his determination and will to win was an inspiration to his teammates. As an upperclassman, Bob took it upon himself to help younger players develop, both on and off the ice. His leadership style was all about walking the talk.

These days Bob is married with one son. He is a successful trial attorney, practicing law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as a partner with the Law Firm of Archer & Greiner, P.C.
