John, Vinny, and Cole have been great assets to the team’s success in the past seasons, and they are going to be great captains this season. They are role models for the team, and their teammates have nothing but nice things to say about them. “The captains know how to step up in tough situations. They put the team before themselves on and off the ice. Whether it’s a new player or senior returning, every player gives them respect and listens to what they have to say,” Corey Leskanic said. “John works harder than any other player on the ice,” Drew Torrey added. “The younger guys are lucky to have the opportunity to learn from the guys’ work ethic, perseverance, and teamwork,” said Andrew Corapi. Pierce Lamberton noted that, “John is someone to look up to on and off the ice. Vinny sets the tone for the whole team. Cole is a good mentor.” Ian Anderson said, “They are really good leaders on and off the ice, and always put the team first.”

According to Forbes, some of the characteristics of a great leader are honesty, commitment, confidence, communication, positive attitude, intuition, and inspire. John, Vinny, and Cole are the leaders of this team. These three young men will carry the team through the highs and lows of the season, encourage their teammates to play the best they can and to leave it all out on the ice. As the season takes off, we will all be excited to see the accomplishments made by the captains and their team.
