The ESCHL Awards provide some postseason excitement for the Hens, and this year we have plenty to be excited about!
For the first time since 2014, Delaware was awarded with the Most Valuable Player of the league. Cole Zucker was named the MVP for the 2017-2018 season. Although, this was not his only award. Zucker was also named a forward for the 1st Team All-League, as well as the University of Delaware All Academic Team.
A few other Hens made the cut in this year’s award season. Mike Zidansek and Michael Nisky were named defenseman and forwards for the 2nd Team All-League. Zidansek was also put on UD’s All Academic Team.
Stephen East and Drew Torrey were also recognized for their hard work, and were named to the All Academic Team.
Congratulations to all our players, and league players, who were awarded by the ESCHL for their outstanding work this season!
