Breast Cancer Awareness Night & Senior Night Scheduled for Friday, February 7

This Friday, February 7th, your University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens will be hosting their annual Breast Cancer Awareness game as they take on Rutgers University at 9:15 pm in the Fred Rust Arena. The Blue Hens will be wearing special jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the game, and admission to the game will be free for all who attend.

In addition to raising awareness for this important cause, the team will also be celebrating Senior Night by honoring the players and their families in a short ceremony. The Blue Hens are currently ranked #9 in the nation, with a record of 21-8-3 and are coming off a weekend split with #3 ranked Liberty University.  The program will be hosting the ACHA National Championship tournament March 6-11.

Please come out and help support the Blue Hens as they play their part in fighting this terrible disease. All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, a non-profit organization that raises awareness of breast health issues through out Delaware.
