Delaware Ice Hockey

2019 Playoffs Preview

This Friday, the Hens will be heading over to Pennsylvania to play their first playoff game, which could potentially be their last game of the season. The playoff games will take place at the Ice Line Rinks Arena in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Friday’s game against Rhode Island will begin at 3:30 pm.

This will be the team’s second time facing the Rams this season, after having lost to them in a weekend series in January. If Delaware wins Friday’s game, they Blue Hens will move on to play on Saturday, and depending on that outcome, again on Sunday.

This week, we would like to congratulate Michael Zidansek on his season as Captain. Not only has he lead the Hens on the ice, but he has helped many of his younger teammates with choosing classes, getting to know the campus, and anything else they might need. In addition to leading his team, “Zid” has been a huge help to the Student Managers in their marketing and fundraising efforts. Thank you, Michael, for your hard work this year – it did not go unnoticed!

Keep up with the Blue Hens and show your support on social media this weekend!
