The 2015 fall semester for the Dirty Birds has come to an end. The boys fell to #2 Bryn Athyn last night 6-2 at Junge Ice Rink. It was an outstanding all around team effort from the Hens, highlighted with an outstanding snip from freshman forward Shane Saladis, the danglishious moves of Anthony Jorgenson, and the bone crushing hits from Jonathan Madia.
With Injuries and a tough schedule the Dirty Birds had a roller coaster ride during the first semester. With a couple wins against national division teams thus far, the Hens look to win a predominantly away schedule through the month of January and into February to make a push for a top playoff spot.
On behalf of the program we would like to thank University of Delaware our friends and family, the University of Delaware Ice Arenas game-day staff, the community for your unrivaled support and of course our adviser Stas Kukulka for always helping us out!!
