Leah Edelstein- Head of Hockey Operations/Marketing Manager

Leah is currently a senior at the University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business & Economics. She is studying as a Marketing major and Psychology and Advertising dual minor. Leah interned for the Philadelphia Flyers in their Game Presentation & Promotions department. She attended every Flyers home game, working closely with staff in order to promote a positive image for the Flyers organization and a memorable experience for the fans. Though very interested in sports marketing, Leah will be attending law school after graduating from UD. She looks forward to one day pursue her interest of sports in the law field. She looks forward to her third season working with the team!

Analisa Vizzoni- Journalism/Communications Intern

Analisa is a Senior Marketing major and Journalism minor. She is the Journalism/Communications Intern for the men’s hockey team. She works for the UD hockey team because she enjoys watching the sport, and hopes to see some of her peers attend the games with her to support the players. Analisa is the head journalist for the team and writes weekend preview, recaps, and any other article relating to the team. She also has written many about the team, the coach, the captains, and more. Analisa is really excited to work with the hockey team this season, and looks forward to a great year.

Daniella Fioretti Journalism/Communications Intern

Daniella is a Sophomore Neuroscience Major. She loves the sport of ice hockey and has written the weekend preview and recaps for the team. She assists the team anyway she can and enjoys working for Delaware Hockey!

Greg O’Brien- Game Day Operations Intern

Greg is a sophomore Sports Management and Operations Management double major.  His goal is to one day work for any major sport organization. He has a passion for sports and the end goal would be to become a GM. He is super excited to be involved with the University of Delaware Men’s D1 Ice hockey team and wants to gain as much useful experience as he can to take with him as he continues through his years here at UD and beyond.  Go Hens!


Gabby Accurso- Marketing Manager Intern

 Gabby is currently a Junior studying Marketing at the Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware. She is excited to join the UD Men’s D1 Hockey Team as a marketing intern. From Rye Brook, NY, Gabby is an avid hockey fan and is excited to work with the team and staff. She is looking forward to having an awesome season! 

Stephen MacDonald- Social Media Intern

Stephen is a junior studying marketing. He would like to one day apply is skill set to a position with an advertising agency or in a digital marketing position. He is really looking forward to attending and watch the University of Delaware hockey games because he has never attended one before. He is also looking forward to getting to know his co-workers this season.

Georgia Mottola- Marketing Manager Intern

Georgia is a sophomore and is studying Sport Management here at UD. She hopes to minor in marketing, as she is also currently involved with the Sport Marketing Student Team through the UD Athletics Department. In the future, she hopes to end up working in the marketing department for an NHL team. She is super excited to join this season, and she hopes to contribute as much as possible to the success of the team.

Michael Skowronek- Equipment Manager Intern

Michael is a sophomore Accounting major. His career goals are to be successful and happy when he gets older. He’s excited to work with the hockey players, as well as the coaches. He looks forward to a fun season!

Sydney Ramos- Graphic Design Intern

Sydney is currently a junior at the University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business and Economics. She is studying as a Marketing major and International Business Minor but hopes to soon be accepted as a double major with Operations Management, as well. She loves sports and is actually a middle hitter for the Women’s Club Volleyball Team! Sydney is new to hockey but is looking forward to learning the game and the operations behind the scenes. She’s really excited to work with the team and have a great season!

Teddy Gelman- WVUD Student Manager “The Voice of Blue Hen Hockey”

Teddy is thrilled to continue with the UD Mens D1 hockey team as the manager for the UD Radio Station, 91.3 FM WVUD. He is a Senior Biology major from Gaithersburg, MD. As WVUD Student Manager, Teddy leads all home game broadcasts, providing in-depth play-by-play analysis. He also oversees the other aspects of WVUD’s coverage of UD Hockey games, including setting up the broadcast team, interviewing coaches and players, and advertising the UD Men’s D1 hockey team during other station shows. As an avid hockey fan and sports fan in general, Teddy is ready for a great season of Blue Hens hockey!
